A special man and a special film

The most special film I have seen in a while, the way the story is being told and presented and the man behind the story.
Henry Darger, the narrator and hero of the story of this movie, is a crazy man and a genius. He struggled with God throughout his life and self taught to be an artist. He had only one friend in his life. He couldn't afford raising a dog. The Vivian girls in his paintings of his stories have penis....
We never managed to and never will find the distinction between a genius and a madman. I often think we call them crazy simply because we are all jealous of their world which we can never be part of.
I am glad the filmmaker chose such a special way to present his story, an artistic combination of paintings, animation, documentation, photographs, interviews, and the voice-over of an old man and a young girl. Simply beautiful. Henry Darger deserves a special film. He created realms of the unreal. Henry's realms are unreachable, but at least we can try.
